Well Tyler got his license yesterday, and drove his sisters over to Camp Cornell to visit with Justin and me.

All we need is sun
The pool is open, the filter is working, the chemistry has been balanced. Now all we need is some warm weather to make it swimmable. Still losing a little water but the leak detector person is scheduled for June 10.
That’s trouble; starts with T; rhymes with P and that stands for Pool
Looks like we lost some water from the pool before it froze. The weight of the snow and ice on the unsupported-by-water cover was too much. I don’t know whether it tore the tie downs or ripped the bolts out of the concrete but looks like we have some work to do before next swim season.
It Snow Picnic
We got about 7-8 inches starting Sunday morning till about 3 or so, and then another 6 or more Sunday night. Nice light fluffy snow.
Hiding the wires downstairs
Finally got around to moving all the components up into the bookshelves and installing a cable race for the two wires coming from the TV. Still have to clean up the wires on the right.

TGIFios
Well we finally got FIOS installed today. They say it takes 4-6 hours. Ours was done in 3. We got the phone-tv-internet bundle.
The first three photos show how I had to clean up the old garage before the installation so the installer wouldn’t die from spider webs and other assorted crud.
The next picture is the fiber to coax converter box and the 2 day UPS system that keeps the phone going even if we lose power. The other pictures show the 3 TVs with their settup boxes. The picture is great – we get all the local channels in HD including the ones for the RedSox and the Celtics. No Stow local access channel but that is coming soon they say. Finally they include wifi access point and router so the office LInkSys has been replaced for now. So far it is working perfectly. Getting 19Mbs down and 5+ up.
